February 15, Fineko/abc.az. Turkiye's budget began 2023 with deficit of 32.2 bn liras.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance of Turkiye that budget revenues in January amounted to 289.1 bn TL, expenditures - 321.3 bn TL, and budget deficit - 32.2 bn TL.

In January 2022, Turkiye's budget surplus amounted to 30.4 bn liras.

Budget expenditures in January increased by 120.1% compared with the same month of last year.

In January 2023, tax revenues totaled 252.826 bn liras (71.5% more than in the same month of 2022).
