ABC.AZ reports that presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkiye and Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan have held an expanded meeting in the city of Turkmenbashi.
President Aliyev emphasized that in January-October 2022, Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with Turkiye increased by 45% and reached $5 bn.
“Nearly $20 bn have been invested from Azerbaijan to Turkiye’s economy, and some $14 bn by Turkiye into Azerbaijan’s economy. This year, the trade turnover with Turkmenistan increased 5-fold, marking record level to date,” he stressed.
