November 11, Fineko/abc.az. Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Seyed Abbas Mousavi has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the MFA.

During the meeting dissatisfaction was expressed in connection with the recent propaganda in the Iranian media against the Republic of Azerbaijan, a slanderous campaign that does not correspond to the spirit of relations between the two countries.

The unacceptability of creating conditions for Azerbaijani citizens to live in Iran who have committed a crime against the foundations of the constitutional system of Azerbaijan and are put on the international wanted list by a court decision, and the need to transfer criminals was noted.

It was stressed that the reception in the Iranian embassies of persons inciting separatism in Azerbaijan and hiding in other countries from criminal prosecution is an unfriendly step.
