September 27, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2022, the net profit of the insurance sector of Azerbaijan (including insurance, reinsurance and brokerage companies) amounted to AZN 73.48 million (1.7-fold more versus Jan-Jun 2021).

ABC.AZ reports that the total income of insurance market participants decreased by 11.3% (compared with 1st half of 2021) up to AZN 431.212 million.

The premiums grew by 8.2% up to AZN 503.985 million, negative net insurance reserves amounted to AZN 118.9 million against AZN 47.6 million a year earlier.
