September 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani leader has today met with Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

ABC.AZ reports that a ceremonial guard of honor was arranged for President Ilham Aliyev at the Quirinale Palace in Rome.

Mattarella welcomed the Azerbaijani head of state.

The Azerbaijani delegation was introduced to the Italian president, while the Italian delegation was introduced to President Aliyev.

The presidents then posed for official photos.
