Inflation in Sweden rose up to 8.5%

July 14, Fineko/abc.az.  Inflation in Sweden rose up to 8.5% in June. This is the highest figure since 1991, when the maximum inflation rate in the country was 7.8%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bureau of Statistics of the country.

"In May, country’s inflation was 7.2%. The rise in food, electricity and fuel prices was one of the factors that influenced inflation," Bureau’s analyst Sophie Eman said.
She added that the monthly changes were also affected by high transport prices as a result of increased fuel costs.
