British company reduces its production in Azerbaijan

July 14, Fineko/abc.az. UK’s Anglo-Asian Mining Plc., engaged in the extraction of gold, silver and copper in Azerbaijan, extracted 20,906 ounces of gold in the 1st half of 2022, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the company. 

The indicator is 13.6% less than in the 1st half of last year. So, in the period from January to June 2021, Anglo-Asian was able to produce 24,247 ounces of gold.

The miner produced 99,499 ounces of silver and 1,283 tons of copper for this period. In other words, silver production increased by 26%, and copper production dropped by 3.7%.
Over the 1st half of 2022 Anglo-Asian produced a total of 28,772 ounces of precious metal in gold equivalent (12.5% less against 1st half of 2021). The company's cash volume in the 2nd quarter of this year reached $21.1 million (in the 1st quarter - $29.4 million). In addition, Anglo Asian Mining has reserves of gold and copper worth $15.6 million.
