June 14, Fineko/abc.az. Moldova is considering the possibility of buying natural gas from Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova, Minister of Infrastructure & Regional Development Andrei Spinu.
"Moldova has a chance to buy gas from Azerbaijan. Finally, Moldova has a real chance to diversify the sources of gas supplies, and this will happen sooner or later. I will not name the dates, but I guarantee that Moldova will have diversified gas sources in the next few years. This may happen even this year," Spinu emphasized.
He stressed that negotiations with Azerbaijani colleagues in this direction are ongoing.
