June 7, Fineko/abc.az. On behalf of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a relevant investigation was conducted into the destruction of trees and the cutting of a pedestrian sidewalk on Bulbul Avenue (opposite house #18-30) in Nasimi district of Baku, as well as the creation of parking at the expense of the sidewalk, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Baku Mayor’s Office’s press service.

Earlier, information had spread on social networks about the felling of trees at Baku city, Nasimi district, Bulbul Avenue 18-30, the creation of a parking space and, as a result, the reduction of the pedestrian crossing.

The illegal parking was created by the Union of Cinematographers of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In accordance with the president’s instruction, the dismantling of illegal parking spaces and the restoration of the pedestrian crossing to its former state immediately began. Investigations are also being conducted to identify the perpetrators.
