October 22, Fineko/abc.az. The net profit of Qala Sığorta OJSC for the first 3 quarters of 2026 amounted to 5.54 million manats (a drop of 54% against Jan-Sept 2025 - 11.2 million manats), according to company's quarterly financial report. Qala Sığorta’s overall earningstotaled 55.55 million manats and expenditures - 49.233 million manats.

Out of earnings, 3.487 million manats accounted for investment income, and the net investment profit totaled 3.477 million manats.

Accrued insurance premiums for types of non-life insurance amounted to 29.6 million manats (Jan-Sept 2025 - 43.523 million manats). The decline is linked mainly with a reduction in premiums on compulsory insurance of real estate by 15.913 million manats, as well as premiums on property insurance against fires and other risks by 2.102 million manats. Insurance payments totaled 15.38 million manats. The loss rate for compulsory insurance of motor vehicles was 79.5%, and for compulsory insurance of civil liability of owners of motor vehicles (CTP) - 118.9%.

As of September 30, company's investment portfolio reached 63.678 million manats. In the portfolio structure, 35.27 million manats accounted for deposits, 28.43 million manats - for bonds, 365,000 manats - for shares. The income received from investments amounted to 3.5 million manats, investment expenses - 27,000 manats, and net investment income - 3.477 million manats.
