June 1, Fineko/abc.az. Gazprom confirmed the complete shutdown of gas supplies on Wednesday to Danish energy company Orsted and Shell Energy Europe (Shell's European subsidiary) because of non-payment in rubles.

ABC.AZ reports that in 2021 Gazprom Export supplied 1.97 bn cu m of gas to Orsted Self & Service, which accounted for about 2/3 of the total gas consumption in Denmark. The contract between Gazprom Export and Shell Energy Europe for the supply of gas to Germany provides for up to 1.2 bn cu m of gas per year.
