May 5, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, several companies will conduct simultaneous tests of electric vertical takeoff and landing aircrafts in order to certify commercial transportation.

American company Joby Aviation, based in California, intends to produce more than 240 five-seat flying taxis with flight range of about 10 km, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media.

In addition, German company Volocopter plans to release a flying taxi at the 2024 Olympics.
