Oil rises in value, and Brent is at $110.71 a barrel

May 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Thursday’s trading after a sharp rise following the last session.

By 09:04 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the July’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.57 (0.52%) to $110.71 per barrel. Following the trading on May 4, the price of July Brent crude futures jumped by $5.17 (4.93%) to $110.14 per barrel.

By 09:04 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the June’s WTI oil futures rose in price by $0.39 (0.36%) to $108.20 per barrel. Following the trading on May 4, the price of WTI oil futures for June soared by $5.40 (5.27%) to $107.81 per barrel.
