April 13, Fineko/abc.az. Automobile concern Honda (Japan) plans to increase the annual production of electric vehicles up to 2 million cars by 2030, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the automaker.

In addition, Honda plans to present 30 new models of electric vehicles by 2030. To achieve this goal, the concern will invest about 8 trillion yens ($63.7 bn) in research for 10 years.

The concern sold 4.45 million cars in 2020, among which the share of electric cars and fuel cell vehicles was below 1%.
