April 11, Fineko/abc.az. The World Bank lowered in its report the growth expectations in 2022 on Turkey and raised expectations for 2023.
ABC.AZ reports that the WB reduced the forecast of Turkey's GDP growth from 2% to 1.4% for 2022.
And the bank raised its forecast from 3% to 3.2% for next year. The report says that the Turkish economy will slow down sharply in 2022 and will develop under its potential.
It is reported that investments have declined, lower interest rates have increased inflation, and TL has fallen to a record low against the dollar.
