ABC.AZ reports that the most popular name among boys was the name Huseyn - 326 children were named by this name for Jan-Mar 2022.
In addition, 306 newborn boys are named Ugur, 297 ones – Ali, 270 – Yusif, 201 – Mohammed, 176 – Omar, 172 – Murad, 163 – Raul, 140 – Tunar, and 128 – Ayhan.
In the first quarter, the name Zahra for newborn girls retained the 1st place - 321 girls were named that way.
In addition, 258 girls were named after Zeynab, 244 ones - Maryam, 231 – Eileen, 200 – Fatima, 193 - Malak, 183 - Nilai, 171 – Inji, 170 – Nurai, and 163 - Deniz.
