March 31, Fineko/abc.az. American companies Apple and Meta provided customer data to hackers who posed as law enforcement officers.

ABC.AZ reports that in response to fake emergency data requests, companies sent information about registered users, such as the client's address, phone number and IP address to hackers.

Such requests are usually accompanied by a search warrant or a court-certified summons, but emergency requests do not require a court order.
