March 30, Fineko/abc.az. The life insurance premiums were gathered in Azerbaijan for AZN 63,002,700 for Jan-Feb 2022 (36.6% more versus Jan-Feb 2021).

ABC.AZ reports that the premiums on non-life insurance amounted to AZN 115.3 million (0.9% more against Jan-Feb 2021).

The compensation payments on life insurance decreased by 79.75% to AZN 10.447 million and on non-life insurance by 41.4% to AZN 28.489 million.

Thus, over the past 2 months 16.6 manats of the premium per every 100 manats collected on the life insurance market and 24.7 manats of the premium per every 100 manats on the non-life insurance market were returned to customers. Over Jan-Feb 2021 these indicators amounted to 111.8 and 42.5 manats, respectively.
