Fitch withdraws Russia's ratings

March 28, Fineko/abc.az. Fitch Ratings has withdrawn Russia's ratings, ABC.AZ reports with reference to rating agency’s press release.

"Fitch Ratings has withdrawn Russia's ratings. The recall was made in connection with the imposition of sanctions against Russia," the press release says.

On 15 March, the EU mAde a decision to ban the assignment of credit ratings to legal entities, organizations or bodies established in Russia. Earlier, for the same reason, the agency withdrew the ratings of Russian companies.

The default ratings of the issuer of the Russian Federation in foreign and local currencies were at the ‘C’ level before the recall.
