March 16, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for some cars in the automotive sector have declined.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in an analysis conducted last month by the Center for Economic & Social Development (CESD).

So, the market saw a slight increase in prices by 1.7%. During the month, there was a decrease in demand for cars using Euro 5 gasoline.

At that, the demand for cars with engine capacity of up to 2.4 cu m and a year of production increased between 2014 and 2020. Their price increased by 4.0%. By the end of the month, prices for Russian-made cars also increased by almost 2.5%. It is linked with the forecast that because of the Russian-Ukrainian war, difficulties will arise with the import of Russian-made cars.

Demand for hybrid cars also increased in February. While the prices of new hybrid cars decreased by 7%, hybrid cars with the old year of production, especially those produced in Japan, increased by almost 5%.
