Oil gets more expensive, and Brent is at $97.18 a barrel

February 23, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for benchmark oil are increasing in Wednesday’s trading.

By 9:16 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the April’s Brent crude futures rose by $0.34 (0.35%) up to $97.18 per barrel. Following the trading on 22 February, the price of Brent crude futures for April grew by $1.45 (1.52%) up to $96.84 per barrel.

By 9:16 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for April rose in price by $0.37 (0.4%) up to $92.28 per barrel. Following the trading on 22 February, the price of April’s WTI oil futures increased by $0.84 (0.92%) up to $91.91 per barrel.

The difference in the price of WTI and Brent crude oil grades rose up to $5.
