February 15, Fineko/abc.az. Real GDP increased by 5.8% in January of this year in Azerbaijan in annual expression.

ABC.AZ reports that according to State Statistics Committee’s calculations it is the highest annual growth rate, recorded in January over the latest 12 years. A better start of the year for Azerbaijan's economy was observed in 2010 for the last time. The growth rate of GDP was 9.2% then.

In 2021, Azerbaijan's economy grew by 5.6% in real terms.
