January 25, Fineko/abc.az. About 1,000 penalty protocols were drawn up in connection with the illegal parking of cars in Baku during the raids conducted by the traffic police last day.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by Police Major Araz Askerli, the chief inspector of the State Traffic Police of the Baku City Main Police Department.

He noted that during the raids about 35 people were detained and fined, who introduced themselves as "parking attendants".

Askerli stressed that the traffic police raids are ongoing.
