January 18, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan manufactured 651 tractors in 2021.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the tractor production increased 2.2-fold compared with 2020. As of 1 January 2022, the warehouses numbered 53 tractors.

In 2020, the production of cars in Azerbaijan amounted to 1,949 cars (17.4% less than in 2019). In 2020, 300 tractors for various purposes were produced in Azerbaijan (decline of 66.9%).

The decline in production was conditioned by restrictions in the activities of enterprises due to COVID-19.

In Azerbaijan, passenger cars are produced in Neftchala, Hajigabul and Nakhchivan, and tractors in Ganja.
