December 27, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, the volume of the world economy will exceed $100 trillion for the first time, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the report of the British Center for Economic & Business Research (CEBR).

According to the report, this could happen two years before the previous forecast. Last year, CEBR estimated that global GDP will exceed $100 trillion for the first time in 2024.

According to forecasts, by 2030, China will surpass the U.S. and become the largest economy in the world. A year ago, CEBR predicted that China would surpass the U.S. by 2028. China's economic growth will average 5.7% in 2020-2025, 4.7% in 2026-2030, and 3.7% in 2030-2035.
