December 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to the latest forecasts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the population of Azerbaijan will amount to 10.56 million people by the end of 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that according to IMF forecasts, the population of Azerbaijan will be 10.31 million people by the end of 2022 and 10.43 million people in 2023.

As for long-term forecasts, the population of Azerbaijan will reach 10.81 million people by 2027.

On 1 October 2021 the country's population increased by 0.3% (against early 2021) up to 10.15 million people.
