Samir Sharifov: Defense spending to increase by AZN 404 million in 2022

November 11, Fineko/abc.az. One of the priorities in the State Budget is the restoration and reconstruction of the liberated territories. 

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov.

He noted that today the first anniversary of Azerbaijan's Victory in the Patriotic War is being solemnly celebrated in fraternal Turkey: "Our people are entering a new era. We must fulfill such an honorable task as the return of IDPs to their lands. The deployment of military units is defined in the budget as one of the priorities. This will amount to 15% of budget expenditures next year, i.e. AZN 4.49 bn. In general, it is planned to increase defense spending by AZN 404 million."
