November 1, Fineko/abc.az. The state duty for the issuance or replacement of civil passports, which give the right to Azerbaijani citizens to travel abroad, will be increased. 

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the proposed amendment to the Law on State Duty discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship. 

According to the amendments, when issuing or replacing civil passports within 10 working days or in cases of emergency treatment of an Azerbaijani citizen or persons traveling with him, or in connection with a serious illness or death of a close relative living abroad, within two working days - from 10 to 15 manats for children under 1 year, from 20 up to 25 manats for children from 1 to 3 years, from 30 manats to 35 manats for children from 3 up to 18 years, and for citizens over the age of 18 – from 40 up to 60 manats.
