October 4, Fineko/abc.az. The global car production by Japanese automaker Toyota Motor has fallen.

ABC.AZ reports that the slash in production was caused by shortage of parts and lack of supplies of semiconductor chips.

This August, the global production of the Japanese automaker fell by 16.2% against the 2020 same term to 531,448 cars.

This is the first decline this year. Company's production decreased by 8.4% to 185,726 cars in Japan and by 19.9% to 345,722 cars abroad.
