August 31, Fineko/abc.az. Russian Internet company and Yandex search engine has reached a new agreement with global taxi service Uber.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian media that Uber is selling its stake in a joint venture that it founded with Yandex in 2018.

Among the projects to be completely transferred to Yandex are Yandex.Eda, Shop, Delivery and a project for the production of unmanned vehicles.

Yandex will pay $1 billion to Uber for this deal. Yandex will have 71% of the reorganized company, and Uber will have 29% of the shares.
