July 12, Fineko/abc.az. The number of carriages via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line began to grow rapidly.

ABC.AZ informs that for Jan-Jun of this year 11,084 TEU containers were transported by the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.

This figure is close to the total number of containers carried in 2020 (11,748 TEU containers). Since the beginning of the year 369 TEU of import, 397 TEU of export, and 10,318 TEU of transit cargo have been delivered by the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway to the destination station.

As for cargo in containers, non-ferrous metallurgy and chemical industry products, equipment, grain and grain products, textiles, animal feed, construction materials were most often transported.
