July 9, Fineko/abc.az. Baku Metro CJSC has not yet sent to the Tariff Council an appeal in connection with the increase in the cost of passenger transportation and price over-regulation, ABC.AZ reports citing Baku Metro’s spokesman Bakhtiyar Mammadov.

According to Mamamdov, the metro has repeatedly expressed its position on the occasion.

"The issue of regulating the cost of passenger transportation in the Baku metro is within the competence of the Tariff Council. The Metro reports to government agencies, including the Tariff Council. But the Baku Metro did not address the Tariff Council specifically on the issue of increasing the fare and revising prices," he emphasized.
