July 2, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan the gas consumers will be able to use the old gas tariff until 10 July 2021. After this date, gas consumption will be calculated according to the new tariff.

ABC.AZ reports that this was stated by SOCAR Azerigaz’s general director Ruslan Aliyev.

According to Aliyev, until 10 July Azerigaz will carry out meter readings, also work related to software will be carried out on prepaid meters, and during this process gas consumers will use the old tariff.

It should be noted that the Tariff Council held a regular meeting on 30 June 2021. At the meeting the appeal of the State Oil Company (SOCAR) was considered and a relevant decision was made.
