June 29, Fineko/abc.az. The single travel certificate between Azerbaijan and Turkey for bilateral and transit carriages has been increased by 31% – from 35,000 up to 46,000.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the statement of the Ministry of Transport & Infrastructure of Turkey.

According to the Ministry, a meeting of two countries’ joint commission on land transport was held in Istanbul on 24-25 June. Turkey was represented at the meeting by Murat Bashtor, the general manager for transport services regulation of the Ministry of Transport & Infrastructure and Azerbaijan by Gabib Hasanov, the head of the State Road Transport Service under the Ministry of Transport, Communications & High Technologies. The parties discussed international road transport and transit crossings across the Caspian Sea, and also announced the start of work on a new agreement to replace the agreement on road transport signed in Ankara in November 1992 between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
