May 31, Fineko/abc.az. The net profit of non-bank credit institution Mercury CJSC (NBCO) has fallen sharply.

ABC.AZ reports that the NBCO completed 2020 with net profit of AZN 66,000. (67.8% less than in 2019). Last year, Mercury's profit before tax amounted to AZN 83,000 and income tax payments AZN 17,000.

As of 1 January of this year the assets of NBCO Mercury amounted to AZN 3.555 million (2.1% less year-on-year). Of them, AZN 2.6 million are net loans given to customers. NBCO's loan portfolio decreased by 12.2% in 2020.

Over the reporting period the liabilities of NBCO Mercury increased by 4.2% up to AZN 2.755 million and the balance sheet capital decreased by 18.9% to AZN 800,000.
