April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 1,109.4 kg of gold to the world markets for Jan-Feb 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that the figure is 2-fold more versus the same term of 2020.

The value of exported gold amounted to $34.38 million (a rise of 25.9%).

As for silver, Azerbaijan exported 541.77 kg of this product (decline of 14.2%) for $356,660 (decline of 1.7%). The entire volume of gold and silver exports accounted for Switzerland.

Last year Azerbaijan exported 4,435.97 kg of gold for $205.58 million to the world markets.
