Statement about imported cars: Most of them are used or new?

March 4, Fineko/ abc.az. State Customs Committee’s chairman Safar Mehdiyev has specified which cars are imported in Azerbaijan in the largest quantity – new or used.

ABC.AZ reports that according to SCC chair, despite the fact that taxes and duties on used vehicles imported in Azerbaijan are currently being increased, users do not prefer new vehicles.

"On the contrary, in recent years, preference has been given to used cars, rather than to new ones," Mehdiyev said.
