February 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's natural gas reserves will be enough by another 120 years, taking into account the level of natural gas production at the beginning of 2020.

ABC.AZ reports that this became known as a result of joint calculations by Fitch Ratings and BP.

Fitch says that Azerbaijan is one of the world leaders in this indicator, second only to Qatar.

According to the international agency, the volume of gas reserves in the country in 2019 amounted to 0.8% of global reserves.

Taking into account the volume of production, Kazakhstan's gas reserves are approximately at the same level as Azerbaijan's ones.
