February 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has published the quantity of the Sumgait population.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Sumgait office of the State Statistics Committee that as of 1 January 2021 the city’s population totaled 346,500 people.

According to this data, 309,200 people live in Sumgait, 23,600 ones in Haji Zeynalabdin settlement, and 13,700 ones in Jorat settlement.

This figure grew by 1,200 people, or 0.3%, compared with the relevant period of 2019.
