December 17, Fineko/abc.az. Cargo transportation on the territory of Azerbaijan within the framework of the Euro-Asian Transport Corridor (TRACECA) totaled 32.769 million tons for Jan-Oct 2020.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Statistics Committee, cargo turnover amounted to 7.73 bn ton-km for the reported term.

17.968 million tons (54.9%) of cargo was transported by road, 10.63 million tons (32.4%) by rail, and 4.169 million tons (12.7%) by sea.

Transit cargo via the corridor made up 20.8% or 6.82 million tons of cargo.
