July 8, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR Polymer LLC is expanding the manufacture of polypropylene used in the manufacture of special types of fabrics.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Economy that SOCAR Polymer LLC, a resident of the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, has started production of raw materials for special types of fabrics used in the fabrication of medical masks.

This May the production exceeded 600 tons, and by August it is planned to produce 1,500-2,000 tons of products.

This raw material is used in the fabrication of protective masks, disposable medical clothing, diapers, fabrics for furniture and construction purposes, etc.
