Azerbaijan Central Bank sold $33 million to banks

June 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

According to the CBA, it sold $33 million to banks in the currency auction on 23 June.

"The demand from banks in the auction amounted to $33 million and was fully secured," the CBA said in a statement.

Following the auction, the average weighted exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
