June 2, Fineko/abc.az. A number of state-owned enterprises rendered subsidized services last year.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to news agency APA that the statement was made by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov during the discussion of the draft law on the implementation of State Budget 2019 at today's meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

He noted that funds have been allocated to Baku Metro Company, Azeristyliktezhizat, Azerbaijan Hava Yollari (AZAL), Azerpocht LLC under the Ministry of Transport, Communications & High Technologies:

"We also provided financial assistance to these organizations at the end of the year. The financial situation of these institutions is not satisfactory".
