April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Increased electricity consumption limits will be calculated between April and May.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by Galib Gamidov, the director of the Information Technology Department of Azerishig.

According to Gamidov, in compliance with Cabinet Ministers’ decision the limits on electricity consumption in Azerishig have been increased from 300 kWh up to 400 kWh.

"The reason for this is an increase in electricity consumption due to the population staying at home. The systems have already been regulated in accordance with the law," Gamidov said.

He noted that since March expenses will be provided in April to consumers in the form of notifications, in May the expenses for April will be provided and 400 kWh will be taken into account. Also, in the June’s notifications for May, the limit of 400 kWh will be calculated. It should be noted that the increase to 400 kWh covers only consumers of the population group.
