February 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades continue rising strongly on Thursday, after a jump on Wednesday.

Following the trading on 5 February at the London ICE Futures Exchange, the price of April’s Brent oil futures rose by $1.32 (2.45%) up to $55.28 per barrel. By 9:30 am, Brent futures for April grew by $1.07 (1.94%) up to $56.35 per barrel.

At the end of trading on 5 February at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), March’s WTI futures rose by $1.14 (2.3%) up to $50.75 per barrel. By 9:30 am, March’s WTI futures increased by $1.24 (2.44%) up to $51.99 per barrel.

Azerbaijani oil Azeri Light rose by $1.26 (2.09%) up to $61.53 per barrel.
