February 4, Fineko/abc.az. Investments in the economy of Ganja amounted to AZN 266 million for the past year.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made Niyazi Bayramov, the head of the Ganja city executive authority, at the conference on the first year of the State Program on Socio-Economic Development of Regions of Azerbaijan for 2019-23.

The Ganja mayor noted that entrepreneurs invested AZN 92 million in the development of Ganja, creating new production enterprises, as well as building and reconstructing the entities of non-productive sectors of the economy. In addition, work is underway on the construction of a brick producer factory to have annual capacity of 30 million bricks. Commissioning of those enterprises will create about 1,000 jobs.
