November 14, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee reports that oil production in Azerbaijan decreased by 3.3%, while extraction of commercial gas grew by 27.8%.

Industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this sphere produced goods for AZN 38.1 bn or 1.4% more for Jan-Oct 2019 versus the 2018 same term. 70.3% of industrial output was produced in the mining sector, 4.1% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 0.7 % in the sector of water supply, treatment and waste processing.

In the mining sector the oil production decreased by 3.3% and gas extraction increased by 27.8%.

In the area of production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, production increased by 2.4%, while in the water supply, treatment and waste management sector by 6.4%.
