September 16, Fineko/abc.az. According to the State Statistics Committee, in January-August this year, the country produced 25,172,900,000  tons of crude oil (including gas condensate) and 23,074,100,000 cubic meters of natural gas.

Of this amount, 15,864,900,000 cubic meters of marketable natural gas were purchased.

It is noted that over 8 months in the mining industry, the total cost of production increased by 0.3% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 21.6 billion manat. Oil production in the country decreased by 2.5%, and gas production increased by 30.9%.
