December 11, Fineko/abc.az. The number of foreign tourists arriving in Azerbaijan for the past 11 months of 2017 reached 2,477,908.

The Ministry of Culture & Tourism reports that for Jan-Nov Azerbaijan was visited by 2,477,908 tourists against 2,064,224 for the same period of 2016.

Over the reported period Azerbaijan was visited by 790,258 tourists from Russia (growth: 31.8%), 488,269 ones from Georgia (growth: 19.7%), 340,702 from Iran (growth: 13.7%), 275,147 ones from Turkey (rise: 11.1%) and tourists from the UAE - 87,215 ones (rise: 3.5%).
