July 12, Fineko/abc.az. The presentation of the procedure of remote opening of bank accounts has been conducted at the Financial Market Supervision Authority (FIMSA).

FIMSA informs that within the improvement of a mechanism of regulation and acceleration of digital transformation of banks, envisaged by the Strategic Roadmap, the procedure for opening of remote bank accounts has been defined.

In accord with the procedure, legal entities and individuals are able to open bank accounts remotely.

Remote bank accounts can be opened using such methods as enhanced e-signature, video image, and authentication on the appropriate information resource.
